Lau connected for 78 three pointers on the year, good for 1st in the Northeast Conference
BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NEW YORK---The Northeast Conference announced its All-Conference First and Second Teams along with an All-Rookie Team on the eve of the 2010 Northeast Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament at the annual banquet in Loretto, Pennsylvania.

Freshman forward Autumn Lau (Mt. Wolf, PA, Northeastern) was named to the All-Rookie team after having a stellar first season in Brooklyn Heights. The native of Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania accounted for one of the top two-game performances the NEC saw all season when she recorded a career high 29 points against Saint Francis (PA) and two days later scoring 28 points against the 2008 Northeast Conference champions, Robert Morris.

Lau started in all 29 games while leading the team in scoring (12.8 ppg), rebounding (6.1 rpg) and minutes played (34.6). She scored double digits in 20 of her 29 games while grabbing two Choice Hotels Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week selections (November 16th & January 11, 2010). A strong rebounder, Lau pulled down a career high 16 boards against the University at Albany back in November.

The 5-10 forward has etched her name into the history books in her inaugural season. Currently is second all-time with 78 three point field goals made in a season, ranking 11th all-time for her young career while finishing first in the Northeast Conference in 3-Point Field Goals Made that total. Her 208 attempted three pointers this season ranks third among Terriers in a single season.
